It's really close to Cromwell Tavern with nice drinks and cocktails.
The bed was not comfortable here.
The location was perfect, proximity to the underground, walk to plenty of sites (Kensington Palace, Natural History Museum, even Harrods). Hotel was chic and spotless. Good WiFi
The location was excellent, It takes a 5 minute walk to get to the underground and the room was very clean
Whilst our twin room was compact it was very tastefully furnished and well equipped. Lovely toiletries, bathrobes and slipper provided and a good range of teas, coffees etc as in room beverages. Excellent continental breakfast, but we paid a little extra for an englished cooked breakfast. Complimentary glass of champagne in the bar early evening was a nice touch.
Great location for a trip to London near Gloucester Road Underground station and just a walk away from the V&A and the Natural Science Museum. Very comfortable bed, nice toiletries, and good continental breakfast.
Room was comfortable but a bit small with only 1 chair and a bedside lamp only on one side of the bed. This was our second stay in this hotel booked in the same way, and we had a larger room the first time. The staff can be a bit slow in replenishing some of the food on the breakfast buffet, and occasionally guests may have a short wait for a table.
I think it was rather expensive if you keep in mind that the room was very small and the breakfast was poor.
breakfast-rooms are rather old
Very comfortable, well-furnished rooms. Excellent shower and bathroom, with cotton bathrobes and a good selection of quality toiletries. The free glass of champagne was a nice touch.
Breakfast room is small and some guests (not us), who arrived for breakfast after we did, had to queue.
The location of the hotel was excellent and ideal for Tube. It was quiet and welcoming and the breakfast was fine. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.
The location was excellant The room was clean and had a lovely heated floor & mirror also the curtains were nice & dark The conceirge was very helpful & the complimentary champagne was nice I did think the room we got was pretty small when staying for 6 nts, it was hard to fit in 2 large suitcases & still walk around
As I aid previously the room was very small when staying for 6 nts also I am quite short & found it difficult getting in & out of the shower which was quite high & pretty slippery
The location is wonderful - access to three tube lines. Good breakfast. Efficient staff. Rooms are small but very pleasant/comfortable/clean.
Kind staffs, flexiblity for some irregular request from guests, good location (easy to access from Tube sta.), free welcome drink at the lobby & comfortable/spacious room
broken bedside lamp (bulb), broken LAN terminal (port) in the room, just one thin curtain for bath room window (easy to be seen from the street since my room was on ground floor) & a bit poor breakfast
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The excellent location made it very easy to access sights, shops & restaurants. We would like to stay longer on our next visit. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable & pleasant.
We liked everythinhg about the Ashburn.
Close location to tube station; 24-hour staff (though the night manager was not helpful and sometimes rude); good breakfast (and nice staff in dining room). Concierge was personable and efficient, as was the bartender.
Air-conditioning was not working; however, we asked for and received a discounted price. I could never get the wifi to work.
The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to assure that we got reduced rates on theatre tickets, that our laptop would work and that our stay was pleasant and comfortable in every way. They stored our luggage both on arrival and departure days, had the taxi ordered as requested (and it arrived at the appointed time!) and assisted they with our luggage - even in the rain - and accommodated us in every way. I would definitely return to the Ashburn on future trips to London
We would have enjoyed more dark, whole-grain breads at breakfast, but all in all the breakfast was very luxurious and lovely.
Very comfortable hotel (especially the beds & pillows) with great sized rooms and bathrooms and in a good location. Good choice of food for breakfast and very helpful and cheerful staff.
